Dear Students and Families,
My name is Mackenzie Coleman, and I am thrilled to be the school counselor at Licking Valley Elementary.
As the school counselor, I am here to help all students learn, grow, and feel good about themselves and their school experience. I work with students in many ways, including classroom lessons and one-on-one meetings. My job is to help students feel safe, happy, and successful both in and out of the classroom. I also work closely with teachers and families to make sure each student gets the support they need.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or if your child would benefit from extra support. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, kindness, and growth.

Ms. Coleman is a Licensed Social Worker and earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. While there, she developed a strong foundation in serving and supporting others. Outside of school, Ms. Coleman treasures time with her family. You can often find her on the sidelines or in the audience, cheering her children on at sporting events or school activities.
